My teaching approach emphasizes a focus on technique, not just for visual appeal, but for the safety and longevity of our bodies. I specialize in teaching compression based spin technique, encouraging students to embrace their natural movement qualities, and breaking down complex movement mechanics for supported and controlled aerial work.

I teach with the intend of emphasizing that circus is for everyone everywhere. I truly believe that having access to learning circus can be life changing for many. There are so many benefits to learning circus skills, they can build resilience, confidence, self-discipline, adaptability, and wide range of motor skills just to name a few.

My goal as an instructor is for my students to walk out of every class feeling good -- even when their body had an off day, even when they felt they may have not been able to give their max effort. Not every training session will feel the same and that is okay! What is most important to me is that we have the courage to continue a grueling, intense art form that can often times feel very unrewarding. Consistently putting in whatever effort that you can brings progress. Showing up when it's not easy, doing your best whenever you can, finding the passion that brings you back to the air are, to me, the most important goals to demonstrate to others.
